We started Purple Frog because we got tired of agencies that sell the future of marketing without ever shipping anything for the present. So we built the one we'd hire.
For two decades, we've been on every side of the marketing table — running campaigns, hiring agencies, firing agencies, building agencies, and sitting in board meetings explaining why the marketing budget didn't work. The pattern was always the same.
Agencies sold strategy. They didn't ship execution. They sold "AI-powered everything" while their interns were still copy-pasting from ChatGPT. They sold case studies from clients who'd long since churned. They sold sophistication. The actual work was a mess.
So in 2025, we built the agency we wished existed when we were the customer. Three things, done well. Real production. Real reporting. AI used aggressively where it works — and humans in charge of everything that matters.
Our founder has been recognized 14 times on the Inc. 5000 list across various ventures. We've shipped marketing for legal firms, wealth advisors, fertility clinics, B2B SaaS, premium e-commerce, and independent insurance agencies. We've spent more on Google Ads than most agencies have generated in revenue. And we've made more mistakes than we'd like to admit — which is exactly why we know what works.
Most agencies are theater.
We just want to do the work.
You can hire any of a thousand AI marketing agencies. Here's how to know if we're the right fit — by what we believe and what we won't compromise on.
We've sat through enough beautiful slide decks. The agencies that survive the next decade aren't going to be the ones with the best frameworks — they're going to be the ones that can actually run a Google Ads campaign on a Tuesday. We sell strategy bundled with execution. Not separately. If we can't ship it, we won't sell it.
We use AI aggressively — Claude, GPT, Gemini, Perplexity, custom workflows — wherever volume and speed beat originality. But the judgment, the voice, the strategy, the editing? That's human. The agencies pretending AI replaces marketers are getting found out. The ones using it as a force multiplier are winning. We're the second one.
We will never have a twelve-tile services grid. We do AEO/SEO, paid media, and content. That's it. No web design, no branding, no PR, no "growth hacking," no NFT consulting, no metaverse activations. The agencies that try to do everything are mediocre at all of it. We'd rather be the best three things you've ever hired.
Marketing is measurable. It's been measurable for 20 years. The agencies hiding behind "brand awareness" and "thought leadership" metrics are usually hiding from the actual results. We measure pipeline. We measure CAC. We measure ROAS. We measure mentions in AI engines. If we can't measure it, we won't claim credit for it. And if it's not moving, we'll tell you.
Bob has spent two decades building, running, and dismantling marketing programs across legal, financial services, fertility, e-commerce, and B2B SaaS. His ventures have been recognized on the Inc. 5000 list 14 different times.
He started Purple Frog because, after years of consulting and running other agencies, he wanted to build the one he'd actually hire as a CMO. He works directly with every client. He still writes ad copy. He still reviews search query reports on Tuesday mornings. That's the point.
If you came here looking for back-office automation, you're in the wrong place — but the right neighborhood. Our companion brand handles the internal AI work. Purple Frog handles external growth.
"AI marketing that ships."
"AI that does the boring stuff."
If anything on this page resonated, we should probably have a conversation. 30 minutes. No pitch. We'll either be a fit, or we'll tell you who else to call.
